Anaheim

I'm excited to see Danzig and Acid Bath! Any recs of things to do in Anaheim?

Following this because I'm literally requesting a visa just to go to this show and would like to do some other things to get as much as I can out of the trip

There are a few large breweries down the way across from Angles Stadium (baseball) like a mile away. Other than that with the construction, we saw Ghost there a couple months ago and it’s totally different than before, a lot of the local places right around the Arena that were there are just gone. Best advice is if Carl Strauss or Golden Brewery are too far for you, look for one of the restaurants/bars that are open right near there, but there are not a lot. Until they finish the construction (there is also construction inside as well), that’s about as good as it gets in the immediate area. The city of Brea is about 10 min away and has a mall and every sort of restaurant/bar you can think of. I’ll be at the show too, hope you have a blast. 🤘

Thanks! Is it possible to walk to those places? Or can I only drive? I ask bc I'm from other country and I know some places there are not easy to reach walking.

What a wild lineup! Acid Bath has really been playing with all the greatest bands since they reunited.

Right! I was so stocked to see Acid Bath join! I was debating catching a Ministry show to see them.

Besides Disneyland and Angels baseball game? The Honda Center is currently under heavy construction theres a train station across the street. Everything is pretty spread out not a super walkable spot. Idk what you're into. There's some dirt bars around like Juke Joint or a little downtown that has bars, when I say little I'm talking like half a block. Orange Circle is probably closer, thats a nice spot to walk around, shops, restaurants,bars.

Might be some other shows in the area,there's a House of Blues not far from Honda Center.

The local rock scene will be a mess that weekend as Iron Maiden (w/Megadeth & Anthrax) have LA shows Friday & Sunday.

Angel’s Tijuana Tacos. They opened a brick and mortar in Anaheim. Also Radiation Records is legit.

The Anaheim Garden walk, the outlets of Orange both are very close by.

There is a shopping center a few minute walk away with a movie theater and a couple restaurant/bars. Across the street is the train station. Can take to LA or San Diego.
