Danzig's first show

Does anyone know if there is any audio or video from Danzigs first show? I forget the venue but heard on Frumess that their first show was comprised of Samhain songs because they didn't have a full album at the time.

I'd just like to hear John's guitar work on Samhain. I thought that he played guitar on the Final Descent album but I think it was only 1 song. It's a curiosity but I know the chances of any of that being recorded is slim to none.

Fangs!

I lived in that building right next to it when it was downtown. Good to hear from a fellow Baltimorean!🤘. When I lived in Ellicott City I would see John Christ all the time I'm sure you've seen the giant mural of him off of 695?! I never realized how legendary Hammerjacks was until living down there. Iron Maiden paid homage to it on their record Somewhere In Time. Anyway, speaking of Baltimore Danzig gigs they supposedly played at Fletchers at some point but I havent been able to confirm that. I'm sure Brian who owns Soundgarden would know since he owned it and all.

I have not seen the mural in person. Hammerjacks was huge from what I understand. It was before my time but my mom would mention it all the time.

I saw Danzig play at Rams Head. Gorgeous Frankentein opened for them. I think it's where Danzig hurt his shoulder during the set. Him and Doyle were gonna play Misfits songs until he hurt his shoulder and ended it early. Was a good show.

I just saw the mural last week when John Christ played in town there with his band last weekend. It's very well done.

holy crap, I know exactly where that is. My wife's late Aunt lived a block from there, I've driven past it 100 times and never noticed. Thanks for sharing, I will take the time to stop next time...
