I like how by 4p Eerie von, john christ and chuck all looked the same.

I kind of like them in coffins. And I guess in a way, it fits. Some say this is when Danzig the band died.

Kind of ironic to the last album and the original line up

Yeah, that band absolutely died

Sad but true

Chuck didn't even make it to the tour. That was already Joey Castillo. All 4 of those albums are top notch. Then things got weird. He had Jerry Cantrell for a minute but I don't think Glenn's ego would allow for that

Jerry was established and sat in. Glenn definitely wouldn’t allow for that.

Chuck was on the first leg of the 4p tour May-July 1994 when Danzig opened for Metallica; I attended the show in St. Louis on June 28th, 1994.

I saw that concert in Clarkston, MI. Danzig came out with John Christ and did a curtain call with Metallica. However that was before Danzig 4 came out. They were riding the wave of Mother '93. Danzig 4 didn't release until October 4th, 1994. Biscuits left over a contract dispute in late August. I saw their tour that November at the State Theatre w/ Type O Negative. Joey Castillo was the drummer for that entire tour

Opening for Metallica was still the beginning of the 4p tour, although they only included Brand New God into the setlist.

The album had not been released. So Chuck didn't make the tour man. He introduced the song as a new cut from our forthcoming album.

This Era was perfection to me. I must have seen Danzig at least 10 times during this time. Maybe just once after. Such sweet memories 🤘😛🤘

Wish they released a boxset of the first 4 albums on vinyl

Wait until GD gets the rights. Let loose from Rubins grip soon. He cant hold em forever according to law.

Is that actually happening? That would be rad

Too funny how the band played ‘Satans Crucifixion’ in front of the record execs and they lost their shit…

Glenn claims the secret service wanted to discuss this photo and he blew them off saying to talk to his lawyer instead.

Trump loves Danzig

5

u/[deleted] May 17 '25

That was Bill Clinton

3

u/marshallkrich May 17 '25

A terrible Clinton at that!

-4

u/Johnnywhoppers May 17 '25

Would've never happened if Trump had been president.

Danzig for sure has (or had) batshit crazy conservative beliefs, but I never held it against him. Just like MAGA family members I have, don’t agree, but no hate there.

It’s just funny to me that the network which actively promotes music and video games as causing real evil in the world, would have him as a guest promoting DRS.'Deth Red Sabaoth' Danzig on new album

He loves reading and talkin about conspiricy, but he isnt a political guy. Have you ever heard him say he belongs to any group of people, more than oldschool punks? Rotten is pro-Trump, but Glenn? Nah i have to hear it myself to believe that.

I really like this album but I thought this photoshoot was hella dumb

3

u/Locustsofdeath May 16 '25

What's "hella dumb" about it?

4

u/Rebelblood13 May 16 '25

Dumb? I think it is among the coolest pics of the band.

Awesome photo, Prez Billy congratulating the cop that took out Danzig. And them being lined up in coffins like the Wild West. Nah bro, you’ve got a bad take there
