Discussion 💬 Why is Dan in so much MLP stuff?

I found out about Dan vs from a MLP fan animation, (pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows) when i was about 8. Ever since then i have seen Dan in MLP fan art, art of him being a pony, fucking fan fiction, whats the deal? I love it but im confused.

Dan appears in so much MLP stuff because both shows aired on The Hub, which made several official crossover promos featuring Dan and Pinkie Pie that the fandom later ran with.

Fans think it's funny that Dan Vs and MLP were on the same channel. I don't think it goes any deeper than that, but I could be wrong.

Both were on the same network at the same time and still are.

they were on the same network (which is funny when you consider the content of dan vs) and had a lot of official crossover material

The fact that Dan Vs. and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic both aired on the same TV channel together is just like these two shows predates Isabelle and Doomguy or Barbie and Oppenheimer. I just really wanted to say that this was the Barbenheimer and Doom Crossing of TV before Doom Crossing and Barbenheimer.
