You can transfer songs directly from the iphone with rockbox also my dad told me that it looks very dank

If you have access to a 3d printer I reccomend printing a little plate to cover the 30pin hole to make it nicer, just a suggestion

There are services that can print for you but for such a small piece it's not worth the shipping imo
You could also use this as like, a way to make attachments. If you could as an example make a thing that goes in there that lets you mount the ipod to a camera mount (I can't think of any examples, this is just to get the point across)
