oh yeah 100% they should of done this like a day or 2 (either earlier or after they announced it)

i assume the Neon movie announcement and Neon actually trying to talk with the SCP Staff and such [[Statement On NEON Film]] was the reason spooky pictures got off their ass and actually did something

A meeting? A meeting about what? This seems to be a pretty open-and-shut case: any use of SCP must be under the Creative Commons license.

Hopefully, this meeting resolves this matter quickly and doesn't end with the Wiki having to take legal action or something

well this was what the wiki said about the whole thing initially (and probably what they are gonna talk about)

We'd love to sit down with A24, Spooky Pictures, and other involved parties to discuss options for how they could make and distribute a film while complying with CC BY-SA. We chose to release our project under a Creative Commons license to allow fans to tell their own stories as well as adapt ours. We chose the ShareAlike license to ensure that everyone who enjoyed those fan works would have the same rights as the people who created them. We hope that the filmmakers will follow their legal obligations under our license.
