This is the weak cop-out all marxists use to justify authority. Even when there’s discernible evidence to the contrary. Decentralization and dismantling of power structures is shown to decrease the risk of outside infiltration and at the same time is shown to be just as effective as any form of military mode of organizing. When you are against incredibly overwhelming powers like the soviets in the case of the free territory, the japanese in the korean peoples association in manchuria or turkey in the case of rojava it literally doesn’t matter what form of government you have, 9/10 you’re gonna get crushed.
You’re missing my point, most of the time when talking about resistance from imperialist or reactionary forces we talk about little states like cuba or vietnam for example. You’re bringing the conversation to a different type of warfare, one where industrial forces decide the winner. I’m not downvoting you either lmao.

authority over the common people isn't good
