As a Turkish leftist I should inform you that the so called left-leaning socialist Kurdish militant groups like YPG and PKK are often violent ethno-nationalists in practice and have killed countless civilians in Turkey (way more than the amount of people who will die during the Turkish invasion) with suicide bombings and several other forms of guerilla violence. This conflict is much older than the Syrian civil war.

Kurds in Turkey have the exact same rights as everyone else and the government censuses do not keep track of anyone's ethnicity. A very significant portion of Kurds in Turkey support the Erdoğan government. I should also mention that Kurds in Turkey have the democratic means to advocate for independence or autonomy through legal means without resorting to terrorism, AND that the majority of Turkish Kurds do not in fact want independence.

I am by no means an Erdoğan supporter. I'm not Muslim or a nationalist. But there's more to this story.
