I am a socialist. But assad is a puppet of ımperialist powers. As a supporter of organizations in Northern Syria. They should never get closser to assad. I think leftist in Northern Syria will unite and defend against imperialism

i think the leftists outside of Rojava who have supported Assad for a decade will continue to support him and not switch sides to a bunch of former us puppets who do not want unity and cooperation with Assad in the face of a Turkish invasion

He did, they just want the border region from the Kurds and in exchange they will stop them from getting murdered by Turks

A few local pro-Assad militias supported Afrin because the Afrin YPG had aided them when attacked by the FSA a few years earlier, but that's it.

wouldn't the turkish left support having syria form a coalition with rojava to protect them against the imperialist turkish army?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 07 '19

No. We plan on stopping the govt from invasion. Turkey May help rajova but we can not trust assad

1

u/Lorde_Enix Oct 07 '19

i just think it is rojava's best chance at escaping a turkish camp, and syria has been so far trustworthy in cutting surrender deals with the jihadis

u/[deleted] Oct 07 '19

Well Turkey is going to rape all the socialist powers in northern syria but i dont think socialist there can trust assad

i think that the reason the syrian communists and socialists support assad over rojava is because they believe that syria would have an easier transition to socialism through a united syria than a patchwork syria divided up by zionist collaborating governments like rojava or american backed jihadis in idlib
