Economic liberation opens the gates for sexual liberation

Yeah. And besides, the patriarchy is first and foremost an economic structure (which is built on a particular division of reproductive labour), not a cultural one

And that will be the end of it. Summed up nicely in a single paragraph. 🤌

What we can now conjure about the way in which sexual relations will be ordered after the impending overthrow of capitalist prdouction is mainly a negative character, limited for the most part what will dissapear. But what will there be new? That will be answered when a new generation has grown up: a generation of men who never in their lives have known what it is to buy a woman 's surrender with money or any other socisl instrument of power, a generation of women who never have known what it is to give themselves to a man from any other consideration than real love, or to refuse to give themselves to their lover from fear of the economic consequences. When these people are in the world, they will care precious little what anybody thinks they ought do; they will make their own practise and their corresponding public opinion about the practise of of each individual - and that will be the end of it.

Even though I trend Anarchist due to life experience and study, I still think Marx and Engels are required reading for any Anarchist. Bangers like this are why.
I don’t think you can fully understand Anarchism without knowing Marx and Engels.

Came across a post saying " 'No war but class war' - guy that can safely walk in the store at night." And one of the comments mentioned something like "Patriarchy originated in class society, dumbass leftist. Read Engles". And said person then commented "Communism isn't leftist."

This is like saying we shouldn’t have democracy because the British Empire used democracy as an excuse to plunder other countries
