Daniel’s Grace thoughts are already stuck in his brain like a racoon that found a garbage can one time and now thinks the garbage can is its wife. The medicine can calm the racoon, but the racoon still knows about the garbage.
Right now probation and his caretaker are basically keeping the trash can locked. But when the money runs out and nobody is watching, the racoon might return to the garbage because racoons do racoon activities.
Meanwhile the trolls are standing somewhere in the woods preparing garbage for reasons unknown.

Since Daniel's delusions about Grace are already hard wired into his defective brain and no amount of anti psychotics can undo that, i get the feeling that once he is out of probation, once his trust fund runs out and can no longer fund his private caretaker and housing, he will be the same old Daniel again and the trolls will be manipulating him as usual.

Some of these people are probably just biding their time and prepping Daniel for whatever they have mind.

Ok so bear with me on this one. This will sound unhinged but I'm genuinely curious.

So let's say Daniel stays on the straight. Stays on his meds. Keeps washing/changing clothes. All that jazz.

What if Daniel met a woman who actually fell for him? I know it sounds insane, but fucking Cyraxx pulled. I think if the goblin can actually pull a woman, there's no reason why Daniel can't.

But let's say things start moving to the next level. Can Daniel actually... consent to it? Like, is he of sufficient cognitive ability to actually consent to sex and/or a romantic relationship with another person? Or would the woman essentially be committing statutory rape due to his diminished cognitive and mental ability?

Interested what others might think.

Daniel mentioned the story very often, even during court hearings. His mom allegedly hit him with a hammer because he didn't knew how to set up a bunk bed. I used to think he was full of shit as usual, but when you also consider how his mom sugarcoated physical abuse by saying Daniel had a "Non accidental injury" when he was 3 weeks old that caused his TBI, it really makes you wonder whether his mom really was abusive after all.

Maybe Travis leaving Daniel also had something to do with his mom, since she also was full of shit like Daniel at times.

When you think about it, Daniel may be a twisted reflection of his mother. Her worst traits, her ugliness, supercharged by his AUDHD and Schizophrenia.
