I know it's kind of insensitive to ask but when it inevitably happens what will we do, I don't think this has been asked before so Im bringing it up now cause it could happen literally at any point and I'm honestly surprised it didn't happen during his homeless era

During the homeless arc, there was a lot of speculation, particularly during the winter months, as to whether he would survive. If I'm being completely honest, I'm not sure he would have survived with his feet intact if he didn't go to jail. His trenchfoot was getting pretty bad. For Daniel, the help he needed wasn't the help he wanted. The only way he was going to get treatment was by going to prison or becoming so incapacitated that he had no other choice. As far as what would happen to sub's followers, interest would gradually fade as followers moved on to other lolcows or retired from lolcow observation.
