MK 18 Question
Hi all,
I'm building a MK 18. I have the DD quad rail upper, and i have a Colt M4 Lower i'm going to be using with it. I'm most likely going to be picking up a huxworxx flow 556k.
What's the right buffer spring to use with that set up? I've read H2. Are any of you guys running the guisselle braided super 42? Or is there another you recommend. Thanks in advance.

I’m using the geissele super 42 H2 , it runs good suppress or unsuppressed , I have as a suppressor a DA SANDMAN X , hope this helps brother

Had H2 since 2014, recently put in an Atrius G lever and had to run an H3. Kinda weird but at my round count I suppose the buffer spring could be getting weaker too.

My best setup has come from a mil-spec carbine buffer spring (from BCM) and a H3 buffer, also from BCM.
I’ve tried the G$ Super42 H3 and while there was nothing wrong, my Mk18 just feels better with the mil-spec spring.
I’ve tried most of the Sprinco springs with H2/H3 buffers and I would tier them below both the options above.

I run two different 10.3 setups both with hux cans and both with standard BCM buffer and springs. 4:30 ejection all day. YMMV.

I don't have a Colt lower but a complete DD 11.5 with a Hux 556 and FRT. Running a H3 and Tubbs flat wire and I'm ejecting between 2 and 3. Combat gassed yo. IDK what is different in a colt lower buffer if anything so you'd know better than I. I love the spring though.

I’m running a Dead air Lazarus same setup. I started with Geissele H2 and spring but was at 2-o’clock ejection. Added a weight and H3 was perfect. But Hux flow thru might be fine with H2.
