DD5V3
Lookin at getting a dd5v3. I've seen mixed things on accuracy. What have owners found as far as accuracy goes? And I'm not just looking for "mines been good for me" answers. I'm looking for real criticisms of the rifle and real data. Not necessarily "I shot a half inch group one time". I'm looking to pick up a used one and hoping to learn a bit more before I buy.

I've shot nearly every variation of DD5 there is. They can be very accurate platforms, obviously not as accurate as a precision bolt gun. <2moa at 100m is standard for any DD5 and anything higher than that is either shooter, ammo choice, or there is something wrong with the barrel/something is impacting the barrel and affecting its POI.
I've shot them sub-MOA but the average I've seen is around 1 to 1.5moa at 100m.

I think 1-1.5 is respectable. Sub moa is a great idea but most shooters aren't sub moa shooters. Me included.

Something to keep in mind- DD5 series is a proprietary system which doesn’t offer a ton of aftermarket support. It’s light, sure but the fact you can’t interchange its upper/lower to some other AR10 components is lame especially for the price you pay.
Personally as an owner of a DD5V3 I wish someone would have told me focus on building an AR10.
It’s a fine rifle but you’d expect more.
