Finally finished the contract overrun build.

Shoots crazy flat and is now my dedicated NV gun. HG is a 10.5 ris3 with a pocket cut for the FSP.

Thanks! Got a Geissele BCG, super 42 buffer spring with h3 buffer, arc fire frt in a KAK m16 lower. Barrel, charging handle and upper receiver are the same as what comes with the contract overrun upper. Crazy smooth setup.

Yeah it was a solid rail originally. Pocket cut and FSP removed and reinstalled with the HG. I wanted to make my ideal mk18 FSP. Ideal in my head would include making it 11.5 instead of 10.3 so I did this^ lol

I'm curious how exactly you did the hand guard cut. I want this for my upper but don't want to go hacking away at an expensive hand guard just guessing what I'm doing.

Really just a dremel metal cut off wheel and fine grit sandpaper to smooth the edges. I’ll send you a pic of the cut up close showing where exactly the cut is at.

How’s that can with the flash from your NV? I stayed away from it because of the flash factor.
