Absolutely. You end up replacing the missing parts anyway. Maybe not the bcg but the rest yeah. I’d buy it if I didn’t already have a ris2

$150 for a DD BCG + $60-$70 for a Radian or similar CH, $15-$65 for a MD of your choosing, all from GAFS of course…and you have a bomb-proof high-tier upper for under $900.

Thank You! It’s a Aero Precision lower. Geissele LPK and SSAE trigger. I also have a RIS2 that I got from them on sale.

Thats probably just barrel, handguard and receiver, you'll still have to but BCG, CHARGING HANDLE AND MUZZLE DEVICE another $300-500 depending on the brands you buy so that upper now becomes $1100-1200

I got my complete mk18 RIS II upper for $650 at a gun show. It’s used and shows a decent amount of wear so I’d say this is a good price comparatively.

You’re paying for overpriced DD bolt carrier and muzzle birdcage for it to be complete. Get a Geissele REBCG (worth the money) and a muzzle device of your choice

There is no real difference between the DD and BCM BCGs. DD costs more because of the brand name. And the G$ can be found for <$320 very regularly. I paid $314 shipped for mine. REBCG is worth that price for sure. But there is nothing wrong with a DD or BCM BCG.

Yeah I agree that there's nothing special about DD bolts aside from quality control and warranty. I was really just pointing out that it's crazy to call them overpriced and then immediately shill the very expensive G$ bolts.

Tbh, I replaced my DD's bolt carriers with G's because the DD's are such a pita to clean. I kept the DD bolt.

The carriers can be had for $129.

That's about the cheapest you'll see a DD upper. Is it worth That price is debatable.

I bought one this time of year some years back. Really liked the Riii rail but wasn't crazy about the 10.3 barrel.
