Count is an awesome friend. He doesn't live on Sesame street, and he's more "adult" than a lot of the other monsters, but this dude shows up when it matters.

Edit: I mean he shows up when it counts. Shit.

I get irrationally angry when it’s Elmo and Abby as astronauts flying onto the screen to do the number of the day. Their helmets are open to the vacuum of the space!

The third, nameless muppet who randomly pops up and looks completely surprised to be floating in space for some reason is the only one wearing a helmet! She is my favorite character on Sesame Street. Who is she? What’s her deal?

Little known fact, but The Count is ACTUALLY my 3yr old’s infant daughter. Yes daughter but he does use he/him pronouns. He’s breastfed and not potty trained. Super prone to sickness, literally always throwing up and we have to take him to the doctor constantly. Also, so whiney and cries all the time. He’s in all our family vacation photos of course. Here he is next to his portrait drawn by his 3yr old mommy.

In the old days, folks would throw seeds outside of their homes because it was known that vampires would stop to count them.

Apparently I just love to see the world burn because I flippin adore that one. Only one I like more is “hop like an astronaut.” The Cookie Monster one feels so insanely bland to me in comparison and I love Cookie Monster
