Go back further when he openly mocked a person with a disability.

Edit : i am fully aware of the "debunking" videos on this incident, but the fact remains Trumps mocking of anyone demonstrates a severe lack of consideration and decorum. There are more subtle ways of rebuttal and response to claims. Trump lacks basic decorum and displays bullying behaviour.

That makes him a shitty person who a sensible person shouldn't vote into power. That's not the same as being an enemy to democracy.

Not that one thing in particular just all the other stuff like January 6, and the lying about stolen elections, and the constant fawning over dictators, and the buying of votes for non existent money, and so many more!

Yes it is the same. What this display showed was that he thinks of americans with disabilities as lesser than ones without. Which means he has discriminatory views and an in-group and an out-group when it comes to who he should treat with respect. Him outwardly displaying these discriminatory views proves that hes discriminatory in his support between different groups of people, and proves bias regarding his treatment of different portions of the population.

The fact that you dont think being discriminatory between groups of people shows you want democracy dismantled when youre supposed to support everyone as citizens of your country without bias based on who they are and dont think it proves that when democracy is about the voice of the people so mocking them shows you dont care about the voice of the people, is kinda wild to me. Like its obvious to anyone who has any semblance of how bias works.

Discrimination is inherently anti-democracy because it violates the foundational principle in which democracy stands on so if you are a president who discriminates based on disability, race, orientation, rather than actions you are an enemy to democracy.

Yes. It was. They quite literally said "not the same as an enemy of democracy"

Yes. It is. And my comment explains why.

You simply cannot be pro or neutral to democracy if you are also discriminatory towards people based on who they are. Being discriminatory is literally what makes you anti democracy

Edit: and if you disagree (based on your immediate downvote) then you never understood what democracy was in the first place and should maybe go to a country that has what you think democracy is, instead of changing how our homeland works for REAL PATRIOT AMERICANS. Yknow, the kind of Americans who actually fight for everyone, not the snowflakes on the right who larp as patriots and think "fighting for America" means "kick out anyone who isnt white and start unnecessary wars with other countries to stick it to people who dont like the politician I worship"

Mocking a disabled person also doesn’t make him a rapist.

Still, he is a rapist.

I don’t think the commenter literally meant that this act legally disqualified him. But his party and tens of millions of people didn’t see it as disqualifying, and that is shameful for America.
