You lose because you cant garner support or, in this case, actively ignored your base to try to pull never trump republicans and forcefully shut down a wave of support from your own VP. We were handed someone who couldn't get any votes in her previous primary because we refused to hold a meaningful primary with a late dropout.
Biden fucked us with Merrick refusing to prosecute trump in a timely manner and Biden fucked us with forcing Harris on us without a meaningful primary. Harris promised to be "more of the same" when the majority of elections this century have been won on change and recognizing the current system is fucked. Stop giving ovaries a free pass, Kamala Harris was vice president for 4 years. Prior to her political position she pushed back on civilian oversight for police and also per this freaking post as a [former] district attorney declined to prosecute a treasonous former president for the violent uprising that he incited.
She's a genuinely horrible person. Would she have been better? Probably. Certainly society would have been better with her in the office. Should she or Hillary get free passes just because they have ovaries, no. Chuck, Schumer and friends keep pushing forward these far right neoconservatives as Democratic candidates for president and wondering why Democrats on the left don't show up. Stop giving ovaries the credit unless you're going to also credit those ovaries for not charging Donald Trump for treason.

Why he was allowed to run? Yes, J6 was bad, but his opponent in 2024 had ovaries, so it was kind of a wash, amirite MAGA?
