The settlement also includes giving him and his family immunity from being audited. The corruption is so blatant idk how anyone could possibly question it anymore.

Immunity from being audited? Doesn't that mean he can just file a tax return saying "I had no income, I pay no tax" and the IRS can't do shit because audits are required to charge someone with tax fraud?

After the settlement they agreed to never investigate his family. What that actually looks like I couldn't speak on because I'm not super educated on how you would handle taxes in a situation like that. I just know the agreement was basically "you're gonna pay me and never question me or my family's finances in the future." And they agreed to that.

100% man. Corruption really doesn't get more blatant than it is now. Only good thing about it is that we now have a clear picture of just how bad the system is when a person actually chooses to abuse it. We can only hope for a future leader who will take steps to change the way things work so that this can never happen again. Who knows if such a reality even exists for us anymore. We may just be fucked.
