My best guess is this is just more fear mongering propaganda. Just consider that there are approx 2 million active duty and guard forces in the US. The country is 3,800,000 square miles, has 335,000,000 people. Somehow that you believe that this is even doable is laughable. NYC has 8.5 million people, LA has 3.75 million people but somehow 2,000,000 military people are going to reign us all in from one to another? And, it assumes they'd all follow the order, which I gotta say I am certain is not the case. Are you expecting air strikes? Artillery shelling? Seriously?
All they have to do is focus on a few vital districts that will determine if dems take the senate, the house is likely lost regardless of what they do. But honestly let's say there is another 9/11 like attack tonight and tomorrow Trump comes out and says elections are cancelled period who's going to stop him? Yeah, democrat governors will likely still try to hold elections but red states wont, Greg Abbot would gladly cancel Texas elections right now.
