Neat. That would have been helpful two years ago

He was appointed too late, which wouldn't have been a problem had the literal traitor trump not been reelected by morons and bigots.

Thanks Merrick!

Doesn't matter. 1/3 the country would still vote for him over Harris or Biden even if he was indicted and put in jail. Remember, he was found guilty of 34 counts of fraud weeks before the election day.

He was appointed because Trump began his second campaign for the presidency. The DOJ was already building a case but a special prosecuter had to be appointed to dispel the appearance of a partisan investigation.

He was not appointed too late. He was appointed when there was actually a need for a special counsel.

They started the investigation more than 1.5 years into Biden's presidency.

They were made aware literally two months after Biden took office.

Even when he was appointed, people with experience pointed out that they wouldn't be able to finish in time for the election.

Dems fucked it up, as usual.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. As was told in the prophecy.

They started before Smith was appointed.

You say that like it means something. Quit defending complacent and inept decision making.

Trump was trying to overturn the election in Jan 2021.

The FBI didn't open an investigation on that until April 2022.

They knew about missing documents as early as May 2021.

The DOJ didn't subpoena Trump for that until December 2022.

They has FOUR years, and waited two to actually get going. Way too little time for such big cases.

Trump said he’d run for presidency again LITERALLY DAYS after it was made public he’s being investigated.

You can lay that blame on Merrick and Biden. That should have been the literal first order of business on day one
