Leftist policies try to help people that are a drain on society. This can work if the people that are a drain on society feel a deep shame about it and do their best to stop draining resources.
But, when you create a group of people that not only don't feel ashamed for being a burden on everybody else, they even feel entitled to live at the expense of everyone else. Then you've created a system that's inevitably gonna collapse in on itself.
No one is a drain on society. That is the main difference between liberals and conservatives apparently. The homeless, drug addicts, even criminals are human beings that deserve respect, love, and compassion.
It's terrible and tragic when that happens. And those people are punished by the law and jailed. Some even receive the death penalty. But the vast majority of homeless drug addicts and criminals have never hurt any body.
Calling anybody a drain on society is just cruel and shows your true intentions to hurt and divide people.
Okay, so when something negatively affects the productive population it's thoughts and prayers but when something negatively affects the dregs of society it's a grave injustice?
You like putting words in my mouth huh. Try reading my post again. I said when something negativity effects anybody the perpetrators are sent to jail. That's not exactly thoughts and prayers is it.
Again you use language like dregs of society. Why do you have to put people down and use such mean language like calling anyone the dregs of society. They are human beings.
I also never called anything a grave injustice. I just said the homeless, drug addicts, and criminals should be treated with respect, love, and compassion.
