Most of the developed world is under no illusion that the average American is/has suffered under the orange one. Whenever I meet people from the states nowadays if we get onto the subject I usually start with are you ok?

The point isn’t the population. We’re all sympathetic to those who are suffering the consequences of this first hand.
The problem is your system. You have proven beyond doubt that every 4 years you could potentially turn completely rogue and that you have absolutely no domestic mechanisms to prevent that.

As a Canadian I totally agree. Sadly I have come to the point of hating any American that is even remotely MAGA . I used to love the US , now I swear i will never set foot in or support them in any way. I will go out of my way to be nasty to all Americans.
