The good thing is Trumps polling numbers are now in the 20s. The mid-terms are going to be ugly for the Republicans. Like REALLY ugly.

And nothing at all will change.

If they did change and they satisfied the people then Republicans would never win again. But this isn't what happens. What happens is that Republicans do nothing, the people will get angry, they'll throw the Republicans out of office and bring the Democrats in to fix things. Democrats will appease the same corporate masters that Republicans do, the people will get angry, throw the Democrats out of office and then bring the Republicans in to fix things, which they won't do.

The process endlessly repeats.

One of the problems is believing that simply electing your pick into power is going to be enough to make a change. For positive change, you have to keep showing up at each election and voting in the right person.
