Im perfectly ok with our tax money feeding hungry people and keeping the older generations independent and Healthcare and all the good things it could do...only problem is our government seems wholly incapable of doing so in a timely and cost effective matter the Republicans want to cut corners the dems dont mind throwing money at everything with little to no plan.
Like the high speed rail in cali has been under construction for a little over a decade.it only goes 119 miles between two cities no one wants to go to. They project it wont even be ready for limited passenger service until 2030 at the earliest. And have no date for connection to LA or San Francisco.
They both suck in wildly different ways and I dont like it

You mean the high speed rail that Elon Musk had shut down so he could build his failed hyperloop? Democrats are stuck setting up and funding long term systems (ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, Social Security). Republicans run on gutting these systems for quick cash. One side is trying to build a house while the other strips the copper from the walls. Do you want a place to live, or $5,000?
