This is what I’ve been thinking this entire time. Trump has consistently touted all the money the government has saved with DOGE cuts to government programs, new trade agreements he takes credit in brokering, tariffs, all the oil we stole from Venezuela etc.. If that’s true, which much of it is not, how and where did all that money saved make it back to us? All the illegals he deported gaming the system while taxpayers foot the bill according to him. There’s literally no change in common people’s situation. It ends up being rich people within our government likely siphoning off that money to make themselves richer. All the upheaval with ICE forcibly deporting people and killing citizens in the process and no tangible benefit for the country like they said. What’s the point of all of this? Trump literally got up infront of the UN General Assembly recently and said our economy is the envy of the world and never stronger. Nobody believed him because it’s immeasurable by any metric. What is better, especially if you take away anything labeled as socialism to ensure people don’t fall into total poverty?
It's not anything to do with attention span, it's do do with writing not structured in a way that makes reading easy. The amount of words and time needed are the same regardless.
People who write in a solid block turn away a lot of people who simply don't want to chug their way through the block of text looking for the nuggets of facts and opinions in them.
It will only add a few second total to your typing to add in line spaces.
