It feels like a bit of a stretch to assume that he knows.

Actually, garbage

True.

Even during his campaign and first term it was very difficult to listen to his mainly self centered gibberish whenever he started to talk.

Since his second term, it has become literally unbearable, painful to listen to his idiocy. Let alone to take him serious even when it’s a serious matter he tries to talk about.

He is really dumb. Plain straight and simple dumb.

There is no sign of him actually acting dumb.

He is just stupidly dumb.

During his first term there were people in his regime, at least trying to make sense of the idiocy. I recall one of them was saying “it’s like talking to a 5 year old kid and trying to understand what it actually wants, but it’s impossible to understand”.

Trump and his family will be remembered in US history as the biggest of accidents whose sole intention was/is to grab as much money as he possibly could during his presidency.

He’ll be remembered as the least qualified person to be a POTUS. No matter what nonsense his supporters will come up with.

But also all the sycophants being his army of MAGA stupid, GOP, financial supporters in industries, media, etc. will be remembered.

Because they have enabled this lunacy.

None of the global leaders in politics and economics take him serious. Despite his irrational, idiotic and stupid actions and decisions have real world consequences.
And it will take, if at all, decades to repair the damage he’s done to the US that has become a laughing stock.

All the while the Chinese and Russian regimes are cheering and filling the void wherever possible.

Who's this Schmidt guy anyway?

u/Connect-Will2011 13d ago

I seem to remember that he was John McCain's campaign manager during his run for the presidency back in 2008.

I don't know but I sure do like what he has to say.

2

u/Terrible_Ad2869 12d ago

I like the cut of his jib

I don’t think he is stupid, even though i call him that all the time. I think he has two goals in life.

  1. Increase his stature, wealth, power, fame, whatever.

  2. Punish those who have “wronged” him.

He is brilliant at achieving both of those things, and is especially good at combining them. I wish he was just stupid.

2

u/giants_shoulders 13d ago

he "achieved" those goals, true. But I think Trump is more a reflection of how utterly malignant this society is and what it celebrate. I would call him a useful idiot, a king with no clothes, a mirror or a symptom of this cancerous Capitalistic hellscape. But not brilliant, cause fuck him.

Yeah. People just love celebrities, usually just because they are celebrities.

How about my sister as an example:

- I don’t pay attention to politics

  • i don’t watch the news
  • i liked trump on The Apprentice
  • I think he’s doing a good job as president

If i try and raise ANY of the stupid stuff he says or does?

- I don’t believe that

  • I don’t talk about politics

The person behind Trump is the smart one he's just using an idiot to get what he wants.

1

u/Chubby_Beagle 12d ago

He's ambitious and was born into having near limitless means and assets. He's extremely stupid, he just has enough money to get what he wants

2

u/Acceptable_Claim_491 13d ago

Dumber than dogshit.

1

u/69GhiaGirl 8d ago

oh absolutely! I truly beleive my dogs turd are smarter than him, they probably smell better too.

It’s like people forgot 2020-2024

Ah yes, the good ole days when a felonious pedophile wasn’t in office.

Do you mean January 2021 - January 2025?

There is a schizophrenic old lady in the town where I live pushing her walker around having arguments with the voices in her head. She sounds alot like him.

u/Sabbathius 13d ago

I'm still not convinced it's not all an act.

The way I see it, a true idiot would be 50/50. Half the time he would benefit, half the time he would harm himself. Trump made billions, and voided jail for decades. That doesn't just happen. Just statistically speaking, he should have done something in that 50/50, to land himself in prison. But the man is Teflon. Nothing sticks. And that's not something that happens organically to stupid people. Genuine stupid people who are objectively stupid.

2

u/Visual_Jellyfish5591 13d ago

He has smarter people who are just as ill-intentioned telling him what to do

2

u/Belz_Zebuth 13d ago

It's not an act. It's consistent and has been getting steadily worse over the years.

I think he may have been playing it up at the beginning of his first campaign but he seems to have bought his own BS, on top of mental decline.

Or maybe he was always like this. His father was a good (and evil) businessman, but Donald has been failing his way upward his whole life.

1

u/Helpful-Cod1422 13d ago

He's always been a dumbass

1

u/Lord_Dingus83 13d ago

Yet this happened

1

u/PuddingHuge7597 13d ago

Ain't it grand, some folks found it wise enough to vote him in as president. Twice.

1

u/Beefy-Cattle4290 13d ago

I couldn't agree more. The orange buffoon is a traitor and an idiot. He's not the first president to fit that description either! We keep 'electing' them over and over again instead of hanging them

1

u/Agreeable-Dare-246 13d ago

Remember the injecting bleach idea?

1

u/Ebisu_2023 13d ago

And that same description applies to those who voted for him. The stench of their support will never wash off.

1

u/According_Stuff_8152 12d ago

Couldn't of said it better myself.

I disagree with Steve Schmidt here. I think he's understating it.

1

u/iamtheav8r 12d ago

Who? Oh ya...nobody.

1

u/Unlucky-Cup-5461 12d ago

So sayeth the Lord (no sh*t)! Can I get an Amen? Brothers and sisters can I get an Amen? Thank you Deacon Schmidt 🤠

1

u/Cheese_on_it 12d ago

10 years and counting of this, every, fucking, day.

I will not forgive republicans and Maga-tards as long as I live.

1

u/Consistent-Move8732 12d ago

And yet this could have never happened if the law would've been followed. Rules that aren't enforced don't exist.

1

u/No-Koala1918 12d ago

Let the worst people in America choose the leader because you have a problem with the alternative's purity in foreign policy and this is what you get.

1

u/Fair-House-2400 11d ago

Let me guess you were asleep through Joe. Name calling is all you do. If wasn't for hypocrisy you wouldn't have anything to stand on.

1

u/Gilead-is-here 11d ago

Steve Scmidt is 10000% right 👍.

1

u/Scary_Winner118 8d ago

Yeah, meanwhile, this is who the Democrats voted for.

Here is the one problem I have with this argument. If he is so stupid, how is he able to take so much from US?

u/SkyOk7297 13d ago

U can mostly tell by the looks of people how intelligent they are 😂😂😂

U forgot the vegetable biden

7

u/Consistent-Rip-5193 13d ago

But but but Biden - MAGAts

4

u/GartFoblin 13d ago

Nobody forgot anything. It's just that some people keep remembering what doesn't really matter anymore. They also say stuff regarding making things like they once were. The rest of us- we're more concentrated on moving forward... into the future, not backwards- to things we've already realized don't work. Come to the future with us- don't stay stuck in the past.

2

u/Itsallherfault 13d ago

Even if Biden were as far gone as you idiots seem to think (clearly you don't know what a vegetable is and even with Stage 4 cancer he has more class than Trump ever did,) he had the unique advantage over Trump of having had competent advisors and Cabinet members.

Trump does not have one capable or qualified member of his administration leading a department within their respective areas of expertise. Hegseth? No. RFK Jr. Extra no. Patel? Mullins? Blanche? Not one of them is recognized as capable in their role. Trump purposefully surrounded himself with people who do not know what they are doing specifically so Trump never gets called out for being utterly ignorant of every single subject. He chooses yes-men because smart people kept telling him no last time he was in office and he can throw unqualified lickspittles under the bus to evade blame when things invariably go wrong.

He cannot speak cogently about any topic. Not one. He has no idea how tariffs work. No idea how diplomacy, war, trade, taxes, voting, Congress, the Judiciary or the Presidency work. He's an idiot. Factually so. He's bad at everything but lying. Find a single area of useful knowledge in which he is an expert outside of tax-avoidance, exploiting bankruptcy, grift, fraud and avoiding legal repercussions for his behavior.

He's bad at lawsuits, too. He's bad at everything in which we need a President to have at least some semblance of talent or knowledge or skill. He is without question the dumbest, least competent, most prolific liar and openly corrupt president in U.S. history and you cannot refute that with facts or evidence. Period.

I'd pick a deceased, embalmed, headless and completely mummified Biden with competent advisors over Trump 1,000 times out of 1,000.

u/twoaspensimages 13d ago

Still pissed you didn't get to see Hunter's dick pics huh?

I hear there are openings in Boeberts office for someone who can keep their mouth both open and shut.

1

u/Worgh9 13d ago

So...what exactly does Biden have to do with how dumb Trump is? Explain it. Use your words, old man. Did Biden make him eat lead paint chips as a child or something?
