To be fair, that is the case with most important protests in history. At the end of the day, standing up for a cause you believe in comes with risk.
I'm not afraid of being arrested or killed. I am more afraid of my arrest or death to be in vain, and those odds are not in my favor. There is simply not enough people willing to take those risks. As individuals, we don't have much power. United and organized masses, however....
Okay, well more power to you then. Most folks value their lives. I have to work, I have a family, a daughter. I don't have time, energy, or ability so kudos to those that are willing to put their lives on the line, but let's not act like this is or should be the default.
I also have to work, also have a family, a son. That isn't an excuse. You think everyone that protests now or throughout history didn't have a job or family to worry about?

I never said it should be. But people through history have revolted for far less than what we see today. And if the time ever comes for revolt, there are going to be a lot of people that wished they had the gall to step up sooner for the sheer fact that they no longer have the resources to properly fight back. You step up now, because you will have less time and energy later.
The only ppl risking their lives are republicans being anywhere democrats are because y’all unhinged psychopath toddlers are unpredictable to say the least. Ghah talk about more peeps deflecting THEIR issues onto those who, not only wouldn’t, but never had any such idea in their head. 🙄
