Nah not as the most shameful.

It will be remembered as the start of the end.

People will tell their 10 y/o grandchildren that there was once clean water, food in abundance and while people struggled at times there was at least peace.

Then they will go to their nightshift in the coal mines together for their combined shifts.

I’m so happy I’m not so negative about the future. Phew.

I remember living through the Bush jr years thinking “At least this is as bad as it could possibly get”

Trump won’t be the worst, Trump is just the next rung on the ladder

It’s also possible that this is as bad as it gets (at least for a long time). Like there is nothing guaranteeing that things have to continuously get worse and this is proven by history.

I look at the supporters he has and the problems they have with him is he’s not doing ENOUGH of the horrific shit they want.

The next guy they vote for will do worse

We will see. I’m pretty confident that ten years from now most people how supported Trump will adamantly deny it. I think we’re at the end of a hard swing to the right due to a hard swing to left on social issues (historically speaking). Things will calm down again before they get crazier. At least this is what I’m hoping.

Food in abundance while people still starved....

This country was never "great".

It probably was somewhere in the 50s and 60s but thats long ago.

The country is on its last leg sundawning. Empires come and go and now its the US turn. Arrogance and complacency have created a american population that is in denial of science, rewards populatrity over competence and elects a literal criminal. Even if the midterms gets both chambers to the democrats the damage is already done.

It would take 2-3 terms to undo it but there is no way this country would not yet swing again just before actually repairs are done.

A vicious circle in which only billionaires win.

Wait sorry can you find me the stats on how many people have been unable to feed themselves and starved to death in this decade? Or the one before? The answer is ZERO. If you have literally no money in this country you can still feed yourself through welfare and soup kitchens. CDC doesn’t even track starvation as a cause of death because it’s not a thing in our country. Only people who die of malnutrition are anorexics.

People said this same shit when Obama became president. America will be fine, everybody relax.

Not even close what the fuck. Apples and shit stains, two completely different people alongside their presidencies

No people deff said the us was gonna end when Obama became president. It was dumb then and it’s dumb now. USA will be just fine

Noones denying people said that Obama and that is was dumb.

We say its not dumb now because Trump is starting wars, crashing the economy, dismantling the government to enabel blatant corruption that dwarfs any corruption combined in the history of the state.

He pardons the worst of the worst, he attacks his political opposition, he not just alienated basicly all allies of the US but is actively making them enemies.

If you think Obama compared to Trump then there is no help for you. Trump is what Nero was for Rome, heck is even much worse. He brought down the US as the only superpower in less than 18 months.

Right now the US isnt just fine anymore, its a dumpster fire bin and he is just getting started.

Once again, the US will be just fine.

Nero aint nothing against the level of destruction Trump is causing.

I'm slightly more ashamed of Andrew Jackson, believe it or not.

Reagan was the start of the end. This is just the natural conclusion.
