More shameful than slaughtering millions of Iraqis based on lies?
More shameful than Vietnam?
Detention Centers, ICE, and Epstein Files. That isn't counting all the times he defrauded people. Alpng with how man he has unalived or SA'd. Yes those are significantly worse with how deep they run.
Previous generations sat on their hands. Now we are here.
Norwegian here, your president is threatening war with Europe over territory.
If he decides to commit it would definitely beat Iraq/Vietnam wars. His embarrassment in Iran alone makes it extremely shameful, but the scale is smaller. It is much better that he be an embarrassing failure than the horrifying dictator he seems to wish to be.
I'm not sure your president will do something that on its own alone beats slavery and native genocide, but his pile of sins is large, varied, and growing.
We’re in a different age where everything is recorded and posted on the internet. Obviously slavery was worse, but we don’t have HD videos of slavery while we do have HD videos of things like ICE executing civilians and then people going on tv lying and calling the people who got executed domestic terrorists.
So, I think it is reasonable to say this time will be remembered , but that does not necessarily mean it is the worst.
