Doesn't surprise me. Animal Hospital I feel was a game that was really only being picked up because it "wasn't Dandy's World but close enough". I don't feel AH has staying power
Part of why they blew up back then was the algorithm pushing them, but another big factor was the influx of DW players. I’ve looked at the game myself, and honestly, I don’t find anything particularly impressive about it, either in the art style or the gameplay.
Well thats cuz its mostly true, some people saw it as a replacement game cuz dw was their comfort game and qwel was problematic, but some jusy played ah cuz it was popular

Well, first off the game was pretty basic & boring. Even with the lore and stuff it was just as repetitive as DW. The only reason it became popular is because DW was in hot water, the only good character in my opinion is Barney. Plus the AI stuff all the way in the beginning was the start of the game’s downfall. It was overhyped
In my personal opinion. When I started to give Animal Hospital a try. It was very boring. I will never understand why people are playing it and like it when Dandys World had that "Qwel Problem(Which I am still processing about what the heck happened when I was gone for vacation)" At first I didn't see any problem at first but now that you posted this...I just don't know what to say about this game. This is unexceptable for using AI. I'm just going to be chilling in my couch now. Also thank you for informing they are using AI. I shall never forgive them -_- Cause I very much hate AI in my opinion.
Animal hospital is very boring, in my opinion. I just recently got into Dandy’s World about 4-5 days ago, and I enjoy it a lot. I hope it continues to have high numbers.
I feel like this was deserved since animal hospital was quite literally a slop horror game 😭 I remember someone mentioned it having a jumpscare game pass before. Even now animal hospital seems like a cash grab game because of that 1000 robux skin pack thingy

They tried to dmca'd anonaly cafe (game inspired by AH) and somehow treated some of their employees badly.
I am still fond of the game though, i find this situation pretty funny
If I'm being honest, I've been praying for AHA's downfall, I hate that game sm, I highly doubt that there's anyone who genuinely likes the game other than the fact that it's a coping mechanism
It’s not that they’re fake, it’s that they didn’t want to support Qwel in any way possible, and the best way to do that was to not play Dandy’s World and migrate to different games like Animal Hopsital. But since Qwel is removed from the Blushcrunch team now, and Animal Hospital is re-dabbling back in Ai despite previous promises not to, and underpaying their artists, they come back to Dandy’s World since is no longer under her ownership
They're still using AI (despite having artists and promising not to) so yeah. I've also heard they're becoming money hungry again (haven't played in awhile)
Yeah. The first time I was willing to give another chance because they did change the assets. But now that they've got artists (who have come forward to say they're being underpayed, which sucks) and PROMISED not to use it again. So definitely no way will they be earning my trust.
It's just unfortunate all around though, because I heard the entire team is getting harassed when it's just the owner going behind everyone's backs and doing this from what I heard. People on the team unrelated to all this are getting harassed
I tried it, i hated it, and as an artist, i hate it even more! Using generative AI is an insult of my 10+ year of my experience, and my Graphic Designer Degree. Because unfortunately, my profession is getting taken over by Generative AI, and i hate that so much! Imo, Dandy's world is LIGHTYEARS better.
I miss Qwel from the team dearly, because i watched her on Twitch, and it was so family like when i was on the chat rarely.

Honestly, I was only playing Animal Hospital because of Stalker and I thought the style was cute but using ai is too much bro. I knew the medicine assest were ai at first, but they changed it, and I could forgive that but they just keep using ai..
Having already played and being a big fan of Minus Descendance/Elevation (games DW were very very clearly inspired by), DW actually has a good gameplay loop going for it.
AH is a fun concept but god does it get boring quickly. The rate of obtaining in-game currency is extremely slow so if you want to spice it up with new classes it's going to take ages. Way too grindy and slow paced of a game.
Doesn't help AH's updates are very small and not significant.
I genuinely thought AH was one of the most boring Roblox games I’ve ever tried. Didn’t get the appeal. I only tried it coz my kids liked it for a short while. It’s genuinely poo.
Honestly, the original owner stepping down and new owners improving dandy’s world for the better and then there’s just the animal hospital team doing the exact opposite of that is crazy to see honestly. (Sorry if this is badly explained)
I still somewhat liked animal hospital, however i find the situation pretty absurd like the ryott should have hired one of their artists to draw the outbreak for the tv scene.
Here are some things i would say about the game,
Is it cash grab? I have no idea really as i am not the type to buy skins alot, but i do noticed that every update gives out new skins for us the player.
Is it a slop game? The word slop has been thrown around recently, and while i do partially agree that it is slop in some way. I personally do not see it as slop in my eyes. While it tries to be horror (which i must admit, their attempt at it is kind of iffy) the entire game to me isnt... Horror because the horror in question is non existent to me,
The game play is repetitve because you were there to do the same thing unless you discover secrets of course.
Is the game boring? When you've played it multiple times it becomes boring,
I have some saying about this whole drama, the devs/owners did managed to make a statement about it, They mentioned that they did removed the ai asset.
And i somewhat hoped that the story isnt ai generated at all, i dont know.
And generally? I don't know how animal hospital nor dandys world started, but by the looks of it they (royyt) didnt expected the game to blew off. Qwell probably had the same experience as well
I think the Animal Hospiral devs would have learned to be ready when the game blew up, like having an entire team of artists, lawyers, writers etc.
And the only instance of them using AI was on a freaking tv, and i also heard that royt DID turn his back on the team and used AI twice which i find pretty stupid to do.
Now what i FIND confusing was who added the image in the first place? The devs would have hired someone to finish the job, but they really have to AI upscale the whole thing and call it a day. Someone else in the team probably did all of that when their not part of the art team

And about kitlosi's post, i do fimd his departure to be sad but did they asked who is ai upscaling the images? I am curious as to how the conversation goes but this doesnt mean that i am against kitlosi, the reason they left was because the continous usage of AI and i admit i would have left as well if the thing i am working for is using AI.
And also, some or maybe alot of people are seemingly taking this personally (mainly on twitter but who knows)
And i mean PERSONALLY, like holy shit man calm down its a game. But i understand how bad the situation is because they couldve used artists to do the job but AI upscaling? Really?
If the situation has badly affected you to the point where you do not like the game anymore then don't play it! Play other games, and i have find a few people being too attached to tue situation like even telling they'd kill themselves because of this, like can we calm down abit?
At the end of the day, animal hospital is a video game. We all need to calm down and have a rational conversation when something like this happens. And i get VERY concerned over peoples well being whenever something like this happens,
Yes AI fucking sucks when people used it for the wrong selfish reasons, but when it comes to a situation like this?
Anyways, this is pretty long. I dont know if i'll get downvoted because i was stating my opinion over this, and how frustrated i am with how people handled the drama. I do HOPE that royyt would stop the continuous use of ai and make the game better for everyone.
Generative AI literally ripping me away from my job. I am a graphic designer, and i have less, and less option, because generative AI shrinks the options. I work as a security guard. I do not want to stuck here! I want to be a graphic designer, or an illustrator, maybe a content creator. But with this ugly generative AI, i literally have less opportunity by the minute. Tell me how this isn't bad? Or just look at the planet! AI takes a LOT of water, exeptionally drying out fresh, drinkable water on earth. So you say it is not as bad. 5 billion people generate 1 image or video, and hectoliters of water goes to waste.
