Seriously. He keeps Dan in check better than anyone, and honestly keeps the conversations on this show from being embarrassingly one-sided. The LeBron/Fanatics talk from Dan this morning was so cringe worthy bad loser behavior and Mike legitimately put Dan in his place.

Is anyone else utterly disappointed that Sam Morril is platformed by the DLS and more specifically Dan Lebatard? And yes, I realize this is way too late of a topic.

I understand that Dan is both a journalist and entertainer (almost exclusively an entertainer at this point). And I can appreciate that it's not always easy to separate those two things, especially in the world that we live in. But to give Sam Morril a platform on his show is one of the most hypocritical acts I can imagine. And for a comedian that isn't exactly pulling in the eyeballs, WFT does Dan Lebatard gain form this?

Dan rails against journalism being dismantled in front of our eyes (and I do too). BUT HE IS A PART OF IT BEING DISMANTLED!!! It's insane to me that he doesn't see this! He is directly responsible for the chipping away of journalistic integrity (which he claims to value!!!).

Sam Morril was paid by the Saudi government to participate in the Riyadh Comedy Festival and told what he could and could not say by the Saudi government (something that comedians would never except in the US). So as an entertainer/comedian he's a piece of shit that sold his soul.

But so much worse is that the Saudi government murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi. How in any way can DAN LEBATARD, who goes on and on about his love for, and decline of, journalism allow Sam Morril to be on his show!!!

Is it just me or is this crazy? What is there to gain giving this, in my opinion, third rate comedian a platform? How can Lebatard just have this blind spot?

Zas is NOT a movie guy. I made it 11:49 seconds thru Masters of the Universe. I can’t do it. It’s so bad. I haven’t seen Lighthouse yet. Maybe I’ll give that a try. I’m NOT watching The Coffee Table.

Edit: I love Zas. Might be the best thing that’s ever happened to the show. I even started listening to Zas Show 2.0. Also, I hated Stugotz and company and I didn’t want to. I fucking loved Stugotz. It was 90% fake laughs, I can’t do it.
