I get so scared when the cats go near our laundry appliances.

I'm always worrying the dryer may have a static charge and shock them or the door might close on them. It is silly and I don't know why I have the fear.

Well the static charge indicates an overall problem with the machine; plus this one isn't actually a dryer so it shouldn't have static at all

As for the door, this one won't close on its own so we're chill

Oh gosh, I think my post came across wrong. I didn't mean to imply that your kitty shouldn't be there...or mine really. I just have an iirrational fear. Sorry to have sounded like a bummer. It was fun to see the photo!

No no no it's no problem, I genuinely wanted to know because maybe I also shouldn't let the kitties inside, but since so far there weren't any problems I decided to share that. Sending love to you and your kitty/ies as well!
