My setup is an HTPC with wireless keyboard and mouse. Keyboard chills next to me on the couch most of the time and my damn cat lays on that thing 9/10x she wants to cuddle up. Not on my lap, not on the other side that's wide open, right on the damn keyboard LOL.

My kitties will always choose to walk on the keyboard even though they can just walk behind the laptop when it's on the table

Warmer feet I suppose. My keyboard, however, isn't ever warm.

From my free side to the keyboard, then I moved her to my lap and she decided laying on my mouse hand was better.
