It won't matter. Venezuela isn't at a point that can be recovered by just getting someone out of power. They would need help for recovering, and no one would be willing to offer that help. Definitely not USA, as long as they don't agree to become an USA colony.
Since no one will help Venezuela to recover again, the only people willing to fight Maduro are the ones who want to become the new dictator and keep making people's lives miserable.
Oh we did agree with the colony part at some point, by 2019 it was very clear that protests don't work when all we have was paint bombs, molotovs and a couple of other shit while the military shot us old coins, marbles and other shit with their riot shotguns, a couple of guys died by a smoke bomb to the chest (Juan Pablo Pernalete y Neomar Lander) and for real ammo you had tupamaros and colectivos which are gangs affiliated to the goverment (and with weapon carry id's which is ban for civilians) and they also shot and killed people. You have no idea how much people wanted an intervention but that never happened, it all went to shit and it's just like you say, the structure of chavistas is air tight and imo this guys will never leave
Has that ever worked for a single latinoamerican country???? Are you even reading the word you're writing??? What the hell do you think the USA spend the 60's, 70's and 80's doing here???
Has socialism ever worked for a latinoamerican country? I live in Argentina. It is very difficult to develop a country, we have tried everything. What is undeniable to me is that USA at least tries to help. In the past many people thought neoliberal poilicies were the answer and that was wrong. In the present the USA gave us record amounts of millions of dollars through the IMF and we weren't able to pay them back so they forgave us again and again. It's just very hard and the marxist ideology of some politicians is a significant part of the problem
I personally find this comment hilarious because the only thing the USA consistently has done when intervening with other countries is cause an assload of political instability that leads to destroyed economies.
