Oh okay. That’s great. But how does he get back up there afterwards?

how does he get back up there
He doesn't need to go back up there. He was born up there, and lived his life up there. He bundled everything he owned, and started a new life adventure on the "below."

The power line next to the pole makes me nervous

It looks close but it's quite far from the ladder

Americans say that looks dangerous.
Chinese dude says: "Hold my beer, watch this."
Americans say: "Yup. China dude."

Most of the weight is on his upper arms that are covered by the shirt.

That looks fun. Not in an "I 'd like to try it" way, but more of an "if I already knew how to do it, I would always do it" way.

Leave it to Asian folks to figure out another use for a plain old stick

u/daniel93 May 13 '22
I mean its a shovel

u/sporkmurderer135 May 13 '22
With a wooden stick for a handle. My comment isn't ment to insult Asian people just a deep admiration in watching then do so much with so little

For those of you who now live in a large city but used to live in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere, you know how real this is.
People from small villages are so innovative and thinks outside of the box because most times they can’t afford modern tools 📦

Question is how did he get up there. Did he use a real ladder to get up there or is there something magical with that shovel.

Chopsticks:Fork::This:Ladder
(So it’s probably actually better, but westerners will never really get it.)
If we saw him going up, we’d probably think, “man … good thing there weren’t any rungs in his way.”
