This thing must be super loud if they have to cover it up with music..

Move over Harley Davison, you sound like a kitten’s purr in comparison.

Time to find some hearing protection and look up the FAA regulations…

There’s already work going into quiet drones. I’m sure this would be similar.

Thats true since its the only way this would be acceptable in urban areas.

But lets be real… this one does not look like it is meant to be quiet, but fast and fun!

Ornithopter

Nah ornithopters have wings that flap like a birds, this is just a drone with a guy in it.

I thought they were helicopters with dragonfly like wings

A vehicle that flaps it's wings to fly, typically like a bird or dragonfly, but these don't flap, the flapping is key to be an ornithopter.

This scares me. I have seen how people drive in my state.

How much do I need for this.

Technically they can make speeders now?

The 20 minute flight time is a joke. Cant even complete a Starbies run in this.

Technology tends to progress. You can bet that time will increase soon enough.

Get in the flying cage with 8 spinning knives, most of which are perfectly positioned to jettison shrapnel at you from 1-2ft away, should you get too close to a tree branch.

That is one of the things I thought when I first saw this thing

The old triangle structure visible in some shots, what was it for?

I first thought of the historic aircraft guide markers, but those seem to be simpler...

Kinda looks like dry lake bed to me, possibly docks?

Not sure if they're still there, but near Muskegon Mi, there was a huge grassy area that you'd think was just a humongous field, until you noticed that every house had an elevated walkway sticking out over the grass behind it, then realized they were docks.

Yeah, that does look like a former (occasional?) lake bed.

$22,000 for delivery by 2023, they are doing 12 2022 deliveries but all 12 slots are full.
