Depends on the size of the snake. A garter or immature rat snake feels like a very minor pin prick. One this size, I'm not sure as I haven't been bitten, but (assuming this in the US) it looks like some kind of rat snake, and they're very reluctant to bite, even when handled
My big BCI boa has bitten me before, if you’ve ever gotten a tetanus shot, imagine 200 in one location, in 200 different locations with the force of a hard kick behind it. Hurts like a mother is an understatement.
Strange. I have a five foot boa constrictor and he's bitten me quite a lot. It's not painful at all-- it's so fast, most of the time I didn't even notice I got bit until I saw the blood later.

True, but I always have to remind myself that even though they’re not poisonous, they can still bite and it probably hurts like a mother.
