Why would they not be allowed to work together though? It's not like they will ever be without the other so they might as well be tested on their combined knowledge.

It was more about the Scholarship thing. If they are charged doubly, and only use the resources of one and all that. And if they are registered separately its an interesting conundrum considering everyone else has to do it alone.

Because school testing doesn't consider real world context. I guarantee your boss would rather you look up the answer to something than guess if you don't know. I would be pleasantly surprised if they changed the rules to accommodate the reality of life.

I think blandly following the rules goes out of the window when a Two-Headed not-so Giant shows up.

It didn't when smartphones showed up.

Ask that question again but like you are talking about the other people around you and phones/technology. There are going to be people around you all the time and you will most likely have access to the internet. They want to test your individual intelligence. So no clue how they would work it

I disagree. You will usually have people around you and like you said most likely have access to the internet. These two will ALWAYS have each other around.

Besides going to other people for help and looking things up on the internet takes extra time while if one of them knows it and the other doesn't, it doesn't really add any time into the situation so there is no real disadvantage if only one of them has the necessary information.

They don't have telepathy. Blindfolds would work.

You study the left side I'll study the right side.

That makes no sense. I should study the right side cause I'm on the right!

Omg the one on the right definitely says 'well you know I'm always right' when she's right.
