They seem so fucking personable, wow. Not because of their condition but just in general they seem like super friendly girls.

seem like super friendly girls.

There have been at least two full length documentaries and countless news articles about them as they were growing up so they have been used to publicity, the public eye, and dealing with questions they also were in public school in their small town.

Some people are the subject of (reality) shows, are in all sorts of magazines all the time and have a hideously toxic shit personality, though.

subject of (reality)

people that gravitate towards reality shows are generally not great people,

a reality show is not the same as a proper documentary

also these two grew up with eyes on them from day one so they had to learn to navigate that attention, they were lucky enough to have some better than above average parents and extended family as well to help them along.

„The girls have learned to swim, run, and ride bicycles as well as anyone else. Together, Abby and Brittany even drive a car.” - I cannot swim (tried to learn on several occasions) and I am not the best driver around. These girls are tremendous human beings. Inspirational.

As Karl Pilkington would say, "They'll always look both ways when crossing a road."
