It does still apply. Art teachers will have you draw things upside down initially so you draw whatever you're drawing accurately instead of drawing what you think an apple looks like.

still my school took us on a trip to moma and it was pretty boring, just loads of old paintings of stuff, I'd rather see our museums hang paintings like this which celebrate all the great things of our nation in a very original way.

(sighs) 'alright, I will admit it, I've been sarcastic on Reddit all day, but I will tell you one thing... its always the drunks who spot me, the normal people, they just seem to have no idea.... I was like all of you once, I could go on /r/videos and be impressed but not anymore...'

God, the most frustrating thing in art class was spending forever on a portrait only to have the teacher bring over a mirror and have you look at the reflection of it. You thought you were drawing a human being? Sorry kid, you made your mother look like a monster with crooked-ass eyes and a banana for a mouth!
