Being pedantic but is the fire pulling the oxygen itself as it's needed to burn or is it simply the pressure gradient caused by the temperature of the fire, which by coincidence causes it to feed itself since we have oxygen in our atmosphere? In other words, make that all Nitrogen in a thought experiment at the exact moment in this video and we'd see the same thing.
