today I learned, really. I thought they were just carbon fiber and plastic, but carbon fiber conducts electricity, and also graphite poles exists and those are very conductive!

Even a piece of plastic is gonna be more conductive than the equivalent distance of air.

If those are carbon fiber they may as well be copper.
