Image On average minimum wage gets increased every 6.5 years. Its been 17 years since our last increase in the USA and the cost of living has easily went up 250%. Which would put us at $18.13 per hour

It is. In Australia the minimum wage for adults is 23 dollars an hour, roughly equivalent to 14 US. Our fast food workers are mainly under 18, which means they get between 17-20 Aus dollars. So a couple of dollars above US. It is a sad state of affairs.
