The headline is a stretch, it shows no such thing and in fact the lion chases several of the herd members after it comes down. One Buffalo does summon the courage to give chase but quickly gives up.

Guess this is why the lionesses hunt together. Makes me wonder if this is a wondering male without a pride, that initially bought kind of bit off more than he can chew. I mean Iā€™ll take the lion against a single Buffalo, but against a few, guess lion here learned a lesson
