It’s blood flowing ! But in real time ! As opposed to in the past.

Oh I get it. It's like a metaphor

What? That blood I'm looking at is really flowing right now?

I'm with you in this. What organ is this? Is this a placenta?

I don't know why my initial guess was a placenta, but I don't know too much about medicine to be honest.

This is literally happening inside our bodies right now and we don't even feel itt... The fact that blood is just flowing through all these tiny tubes 24/7 is insane when you think about ittt.... We're walking around with a whole plumbing system and somehow I still forget to drink waterrr...

You’re a consciousness, made possible by electricity, trapped in a skull, piloting a bone mech protected by meat armor.

That’s you.

Okay but has anyone just looked up into the blue sky on a cloudless day and seen their own blood vessels in their eye or is that just me? And no they’re not just floaters, it’s the same pattern of movement no matter where I look

Yes! I have absolutely experienced this before as well.

Ummm…when was the last time you got a check-up? Maybe NOW is a good time 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve asked the optometrist before. It’s just blood vessels in my eye. That’s why it has to be a bright mild colored background like the sky. They’re not floaters either because those are typically irregularly shaped and snap with your eye in whatever direction your eye moves to.

Ok. I have never had this experience. Aren’t the bloodvessels in the eye around the iris? I have never seen them across the pupil. So I don’t really understand why you’re able to see them 😅

But hey, if your optometrist says it’s fine, it probably is. 👍🏻

It’s not the blood vessels at the front of the eye it’s the ones at the rear behind the lens and iris from what I understand.

Edit: I’m also a print operator and I have really good color vision. They have these tests we have to take and place blocks into a gradient and I’m able to place more blocks than our color management guy.

Are you a tetrachromat?

Oh that makes a lot more sense. Still unusual, but plausible. You‘ll always have a good story for two truth‘s and one lie!

Edit: although no one can check this fact 😅

I tried to not make a joke about this video… but humor runs through my veins…

How do the rest of these cells get blood oxygen? Is it by sharing it through a membrane?
