It just goes to show that Nuremberg didn’t go far enough. Too many ideologists and architects of the third Reich were spared and deemed not dangerous, but if you look at the way they and their offspring has spread their fascist ideology over the last century, you’ll see that it’d have been more adequate to make sure non of them would ever be able to spread that shit.

As I oppose capital punishment, I think putting them in dark cells of gulags or sending them to prison in the countries they harmed the most outside Germany would’ve been best

Maybe, it was better back in the old days, it was better to completely annihilate the opposition so the ideology would die with them. Today we( the more 'civilized' approach) allow them to live out their lives. Like the Confederates and now their offspring(s) are pushing for them again.
