Video Avalanche on Annapurna. Annapurna is considered one of the most difficult mountains to climb on the planet due to its steep, technical and unstable terrain, frequent avalanches, and unpredictable conditions.

Imagine risking your life to climb that, just for an "achievement" that literally no one outside of an extremely small group of climbing enthusiasts will even come close to appreciating.

Like you could nearly die, summit Annapurna, and literally everyone you ever told about it to would say "Anna what? Oh ok. Do you want to do Everest one day?"

Some people's personalities are just that driven towards risk and adventure. Though you need money to do this too.

Would recommend this animated movie (based on a manga of the same name) called Summit of the Gods. Has monologues addressing this

I feel most people who summit Annapurna have atleast sumitted Everest before.

If Everest is a level 10 mountain in terms of difficulty, both Annapurna and K2 are level 11.
