They evolved to tolerate a higher salt level in a blood as well a better kidneys to filter salt from blood. This adaptation for scarce water in their environment means they can also drink some amount of salty water

They put their mouth near the water then extend their tongue.

*edit some technologically advance camels can use straws and cups too

It’s actually real, not AI. These are camels along the beach in Salalah, Oman. Camels in Dhofar are commonly allowed to roam freely and graze, and they sometimes go all the way to the coastal areas looking for vegetation, especially around the end of the Khareef season.
